FIELD MARKETING / TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE

US-San Diego, CA & Arizona – Footwear Field Marketing/Technical Sales Representative


Wolverine World Wide, Inc., the largest domestic manufacturer of outdoor shoes, work and casual footwear, is searching for a Field Marketing/Technical Representative in San Diego, CA and Arizona territory for its Merrell division, known for its performance footwear. This is an ideal opportunity for an outdoor enthusiast, who has a sales background, retail experience or aptitude. The candidate ideally should be located in San Diego, CA. This position requires extensive travel in the above listed territory, including overnight and weekends.


This entry-level technical field rep position is designed to work with all levels of retail management and sales associates in selected accounts to enhance the Merrell division’s position and increase sales. The person selected for this position will be responsible for understanding and explaining the design, development and production of shoes. Primary duties will be to communicate product knowledge, achieve retail presence, track and promote retail sales, conduct in store events and trunk shows, assist supervisor with retail presentations and sales contests, take inventory and identify regional trends.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates need to possess a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field. He/she needs to be PC literate in Microsoft Office, have excellent verbal and written communication skills; in addition to strong organizational skills. We are searching for an individual who can bring their enthusiasm for the outdoors and their sales experiences to Merrell’s presence through professionalism, attitude, and energy level. Candidate should be willing to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
