Donor Development CoordinatorLifeLegacy Foundation, www.lifelegacy.org, is a federally-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation working to ensure the continued acceleration of scientific research and medical education. The primary objective of LifeLegacy is the ethical recovery and placement of non-transplantable human organs and tissues for the purpose of advancing medical research and education.We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a self-starting, highly skilled outside marketing/sales professional possessing a minimum of 2 years proven successful outside sales & customer retention experience.Responsibilities include:
Build and manage strong relationships with hospital, hospice and funeral home professionals within assigned coverage area through marketing and networking efforts
Identify, prospect, and develop new marketing/sales opportunitiesDevelop and implement plans to meet established department goals
Market company within the hospital, hospice and funeral home industries
Schedule and conduct in-servicesCollect and report competitive information to management
Attend training and trade shows on behalf of company to present information regarding company services
Daily tracking and communication of lead activity

REQUIREMENTS
Required qualifications:The successful candidate will be an energetic communicator who is able to excel in an independent marketing/sales environment.
Additional requirements include:
Minimum of two (2) years outside sales experience marketing to business owners, executives and other professionals within the medical or pharmaceutical fields
Ability to travel extensively – some overnights will be required
Strong account and relationship building experience
Must be a motivated self-starter able to work with limited direction and management
Successful sales track record with proven verifiable history
Knowledge of physiology and/or anatomyExcellent organization and time management skills
Motivated to meet deadlines and exceed goals
Excellent customer relations and negotiation skills
Demonstrate outside sales strategy acumen (cold calling, prospecting, lead qualification, and closing)Additional skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Exceptional attendance a must
Strong written communication skills and professional presentation skills
Knowledge of human tissue donation for research and related industries helpfulEducation and/or Experience:
