Director of Perishable

DPI Midwest, located in Arlington heights IL, a market leader in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Director of Perishables. Successful candidate will manage and direct the marketing, procurement and sales of our Perishable Department including, but not limited to, sales, margins, service levels, promotions, and inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:
* A BS degree with six to ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have solid experience in purchasing and managing inventory. Knowledgable of the cheese category is a plus.
*Advanced Excel skills, Access and PowerPoint. Familiarity with an IBM AS400environment a plus.
* Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
