MedCath Inc., located in South Charlotte, is seeking a Director of Marketing for our hospital division. This position will work directly w/ the Senior Executive Staff as well as the hospital Presidents.. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: develop and implement strategic marketing plans and communication initiatives for the MedCath Hosptial Division, and advising and assisting each hospital w/ marketing and communication efforts. Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years healthcare marketing experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications/Specifications:
* Education: A baccalaureate degree is required, preferably in marketing, public relations, advertising or journalism. An advanced degree in business, health administration or marketing is considered an advantage.
* Licensure: N/A
* Professional Experience: Minimum five years of marketing experience in progressive, service-oriented healthcare companies, including considerable experience in acute-care hospital marketing.
* Special Skills / Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills, experience in leading professional work teams, the ability to work with a variety of internal and external constituents, and a track record of effectively collaborating with senior level executives. Self-starting, self-directed and goal-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. An ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret market research, volume and financial data. A track record and demonstrated ability in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans, including consumer related advertising campaigns with broadcast and print components, direct mail, outdoor boards, collaterals, etc.. A demonstrated ability to track and show ROI on marketing campaigns. A track record in developing and maintaining positive media relationships. Experience in event planning and management. Experience dealing with multi-cultural populations; Hispanic marketing experience and bilingual (Spanish speaking) capability is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective, appealing and persuasive presentations to large and small groups.
