Director, E-Commerce Marketing

Leiner Health Products (LHP), America’s largest store brand manufacturer of vitamins, minerals, supplements (VMS) and diet aids and leading producer of store brand over the counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals, is searching for an exceptional Director of E-Commerce Marketing. The position is located at the Corporate office in Carson, California and reports to the Vice President of New Product Marketing.

Overview:
Primary responsibilities are to attain vision for new leading edge consumer wellness website, manage day-to-day activities of new website including on-going development, and building unique visitor traffic with content that entertains / informs consumers and generates sales of nutritional supplements thorough e-commerce and brick and mortar distribution channels of existing customers. Responsibilities also include development of strategy and management of day-to-day activities related to all corporate internet websites.


Responsibilities:
Website development, enhancement and design, editorial calendar and content – keep website fresh and hot
Traffic generation: develop and implement link strategy, unique visitor generation and conversion rate strategy
Liaison with LHP management, third party partners, consultants and vendors to implement strategies, conduct research and accomplish agreed upon goals and objectives
Forecasting, Budgeting, Public Relations and development and implementation of consumer marketing strategy and activities
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing required; MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years internet marketing experience with minimum of 3 years experience working for top tier consumer oriented internet company. Successful history generating unique visitor traffic and stickiness, building community, managing data bases, development of consumer oriented content and implementation of web tools. Minimum 1-2 years supervisory and cross functional project management experience. Consumer packaged goods, nutritional supplement industry, wellness marketing, copywriting and magazine publishing experience highly desirable.
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
PC proficiency. Hands-on website development, design and marketing capabilities. Advanced automated spreadsheet capabilities
