Direct Marketing Manager, SMB Customer Segment

The Direct / Senior Direct Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the direct marketing programs for EVault’s services offerings to the SMB customer market segment. Responsibilities include all facets of direct response programs including developing an on-going contact stream to prospective and existing customers, segmentation, and execution and analysis of campaigns. The position will join a high-performing team of marketing professions working in a fast-paced environment. The Direct Marketing Manager will report to the Director, Marketing Communications.


Major Responsibilities
Closely align with telemarketing, sales and partner marketing teams to create and maintain a pipeline of quality leads
Plan and execute interactive direct response campaigns based on defined goals, objectives and metrics for direct sales and channel partners
Responsible for overall campaign development and execution ensuring campaign objective for each meets business and channel needs, creative addresses objectives and leverages prior analysis, research and learning
Implement and track all campaigns via marketing automation tools, Marketbright, and sales force automation system, SalesLogix
Coordinate with internal or external creative agency to build interactive creative
Report on aggregated and program specific activities and recommend changes based on results
Support telemarketing programs with message and script development
Analyze all customer and prospect data to build install base cross sell and up sell activities. Build customer retention and loyalty programs.
Ensure corporate adherence to permission marketing polices and mandated privacy policies REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills and Experience
At least 5 years relevant experience in a technology product or service company
2 to 3 years proven record of driving successful direct response programs
Experience working with marketing automation tools such as campaign management and sale force automation
Experience working with business to business direct and channel sales teams
Experience marketing to small to medium sized customers (SMB) would be ideal
Experience marketing a technology service would be desirable
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Energy, motivation and project management skills to drive results
Education
BA / BS degree in business, marketing or communications
MBA or equivalent degree preferred
