Do you live on the "bleeding-edge" of the digital entertainment space? Do you want an opportunity that will allow you to influence and shape the direction of a major Christian label's digital presence? Provident Label Group, the Christian music division of SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, is looking for a manager who will initiate and execute digital revenue-generating opportunities for Provident Label Group (PLG) artists & projects including digital distribution, mobile content and new technologies. Manager will serve as the day-to-day point contact, crafting and executing marketing and sales campaigns with PLG's digital accounts and online retailers. Individual will act as liaison and represent PLG's interests with SONY BMG's Global Digital Business Group, as well as identify and pursue burgeoning digital business developments such as social networks, peer-to-peer, user-gen content and digital video.

Manager will: Maintain and service relationships with outside vendors in the digital content space. Initiate frequent interaction with digital download services, mobile aggregators, and third party sites to ensure PLG priorities receive proper promotion and attention. Make strategic decisions on exclusive content and promotions designed to increase PLG digital & mobile sales and market-share. Develop, budget, and implement a digital marketing plan for forthcoming projects, with special attention placed on new & developing artists. Plans should encompass digital distribution, along with mobile and cross-promotional strategies that coincide with the interactive marketing interactives. Participate in label and inter-departmental planning meetings including strategy meetings with A&R and PLG marketing team. Track and develop performance measures for digital & mobile sales. Conduct analysis and prepare weekly comprehensive digital sales reports including trends, and key performances indicators including return on investment (ROI). Pursue new business opportunities in the digital space for PLG. Serve as "eyes & ears" for new technology and innovations in the digital music space. Build, create and edit digital assets (audio, video, images) to be utilized as new revenue driving materials.Our requirements
Extensive knowledge of music industry and digital music space including online, wireless, licensing, and publishing Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge of ProTools, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Acrobat and Excel (or similar applications) 2 years experience in digital / mobile / licensing entertainment or related fields preferred. Familiarity with sales analysis and tracking tools (including SoundScan and COGNOS, or similar analysis software) Experience in a position that required analytical and independent work with a focus on return on investment (ROI) Excellent communications skills (written and oral) Proven professional interpersonal skills Demonstrated organization skills including experience coordinating multiple assignments and projects in a deadline-driven environment with effective resolution of conflicting priorities B.A. in Business or Marketing preferred Knowledge of current Christian music marketRequired skills:
