SUMMARY OF ROLE – Director of Global Direct Marketing

This critical position is charged with the responsibility of providing strategic direction and tactically executing all marketing requirements surrounding the customer and prospect database. This job will require the maintenance of the most accurate and profitable marketing database plus the ongoing analysis of that database for marketing purposes to maximize the profitability of all marketing communications to customers and prospects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop overall direct marketing strategy including interactive one-to-one marketing
•Manage overall direct marketing budget and coordinate with I/S to develop database elements for marketing efforts and marketing data mining
•Establish ROI objectives, test scenarios and analysis of campaign results
•Develop and track analytical metrics
•Direct and manage our customer loyalty program
•Manage the print production function for all direct mail and other printed materials
•Oversee the creation, maintenance and hygiene of databases in several countries
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Qualified candidates will have:
•Master’s Degree (M.A.) or 8+ years of related experience in Marketing or Business
•High motivation and self-direction with ability to thrive in a fast-paced company environment
•Experience with and ability to understand a technical environment within which the customer database exists
•Advanced Excel skills , MS Access and other database tools skills
