Corporate Development ManagerThe Mid America Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has a bold new vision for the future and we are expanding our professional development staff. The Corporate Development Manager will be a key member of our development team, and will be charged with enhancing our current success with corporate sponsorships and with our TeamMS program.This is a fast paced and ever-changing position through which the Manager will work throughout the community with companies in Kansas City to develop corporate teams, form corporate partnerships, work with the volunteer program and plan and coordinate top fundraising related events and communications. Opportunities for corporate sponsorships include the MS Walk, MS Challenge Walk and MS 150 Bike. The incumbent will be responsible for developing proposals, identifying sponsor prospects, meeting with prospects and maintaining relationships with sponsors.We are seeking a committed individual who wants to be a part of our team! Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related area, as well as two years experience in non-profit or corporate sponsorships. A dynamic and collaborative professional style is required, along with good writing and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is needed.
