CityWalk Marketing Manager

Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: Universal CityWalk is where L.A. comes to play! As a premier destination for fun and excitement, this landmark is home to a variety of world-class dining, retail and entertainment venues.The CityWalk Marketing Manager establishes and executes programs to drive traffic and increase penetration, while assuring proper positioning in the Universal City environment. The Manager will also drive the capture of CityWalk guests, development and implementation, communication, monitoring and evaluation of effective marketing programs for CityWalk.Responsibilities include:
Brand Awareness - Drive on property messaging from global to individual venue, ensuring appropriateness of brand fit on Universal City property. Develop and distribute collateral, drive local promotions through effective media advertising and promotion.
Special Events - Lead and develop the execution of new event opportunities, to maximize cross-platform opportunities. Responsible for CityWalk on-site promotional materials (signs, flyers, brochures).
Strategic Planning - Develop and manage program pricing objectives; conduct and analyze competitive analysis to ensure appropriate positioning. Develop and execute start-up and maintenance marketing plans for new business opportunities and promotions.
Tenant Relations/Venue Coordination - Lead and manage CityWalk Tenant Marketing Committee; coordinate tenant promotions and special events for stand alone businesses, movie theatre, CityWalk venues.
Liaison with Universal Studios Hollywood marketing team as primary source of CityWalk information and activities
Consumer Validation - Initiate programs with Consumer Insights to ensure that changes to CityWalk in the form of events, venues, brands and pricing align with cross-functional objectives in Marketing and Finance.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in consumer brand marketing and/or special events
Minimum 5 years management experience with strong strategic emphasis required or equivalent of Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Marketing plus 5 years marketing experience
Minimum 4 years retail marketing/promotional experience (agency or client side) requiredEligibility Requirements:
