We are seeking a candidate with 3 to 6 years of experience sourcing product for a CATALOG MERCHANDISER position in our Marketing department. If you have excellent sourcing ability, strong interpersonal skills and a talent to build relationships, we would like you to consider this position at our corporate office location in Bolingbrook, IL

Job Description:

In our Marketing department, you will be accountable for product line management, sourcing products, vendors and merchandising our catalog, which results in continuously increasing profitability, market share growth, and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for:
Sourcing of new products that grow both the top and bottom line.Negotiating competitive acquisition costs.Merchandising new and existing products within our catalogs.Pricing products annually based upon market conditions.Answering product specification questions from our internal Customer Service Representatives and outside Sales RepresentativesAnalyzing sales numbers to spot market trends and strategic opportunities.Working with vendors to develop marketing programs that increase market share.Training new sales representatives on product line.Occasionally travel to industry trade shows to source new products.This position has no direct reports.
Job Qualifications:
BA or BS Degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field required.3 to 6 years of previous experience.Strong problem solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Highly developed interpersonal skills.Effective negotiating abilities.Strong analytical ability.High level of written and oral communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.
