Card Issuer Marketing Project Manager, 7631

Define objectives, purpose and implements short and long term promotional strategies and tactics.
Partner with the TPI group to develop proposed marketing campaigns that pique interest of the partner.
Collaborate with the pricing department to develop a sliding scale of marketing support based upon potential revenue.
Present marketing proposals to C level management both internally and more importantly, externally.
Further develop hybrid products via comprehensive marketing decks that meet the needs of the proposed issuer/partner while keeping the network capabilities and brand positioning top of mind.
Identify merchant promotional opportunities that match specific criteria of various issuers.
Recommend and implement promotional programs that suit our Merchant Partnerships. Combination of both merchant vehicles and Discover Network programs to fully extend the brands, increase sales, focus on particular drive periods. Complete integration of programs meeting multiple objectives.
Develop attainable value proposition and support materials for aggregators and agent bank programs (i.e. bandwagon ads, direct mail templates, scripts, and econometric modeling tools, using these vehicles to acquire and bridge relationships with issuers and increase visibility among consumers).
Develop programs for non typical partners such as mall management corp., and payroll cards recipients. Leverage merchant relationships to encourage activation, increase visibility and foster relationships with issuers and consumers.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree
Development, management and execution of sales process including lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, and sales strategy
Execution of marketing promotional plans
Solid writing and editing skills
Experience writing complex Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and Requests for Information (RFI's)
Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple priorities
