Uline, a rapidly-growing international distributor of packaging and industrial supplies, seeks a Canadian Merchandising Manager for their Corporate Office in Waukegan, Illinois, north of Chicago.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Work with Canadian vendors to manage / source multiple product lines with a high level of detail orientation

Lead new product development through analyzing customer / sales data, working with manufacturers and directing page layouts

Negotiate costs, rebates and private labeling with Canadian manufacturers

Develop and manage Canadian vendor relationships

Combined experience in direct marketing, catalog production, purchasing and product management; catalog experience a plus

Prior experience working with Canadian vendors / manufacturers required

Packaging or office supply industry experience preferred

Strong negotiation skills required - management experience a plus

Travel will be required between the United States and Canada
