BMI, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Professional/purchasing agent to enhance our staff and marketability.


We are an electronics recycling firm with over 15 years in the asset management business and are currently well positioned to expand. We are looking for an experienced business developer to approach electronics manufacturers, both domestic and international, asset management companies and reverse logistics operations in order to contract our recycling / management services. There will also be many opportunities to negotiate outright purchases on scrap, defective and obsolete materials.

Position centers on relationship cultivation and building. Individual will build relationships with these manufacturers and service the accounts once established. This marketing specialist will aggressively approach high level, Fortune 500 corporate accounts in order to collaborate marketing strategies and develop comprehensive recycling programs to fit the needs of these plants.

$32-$45k base plus healthy commission plan plus profit sharing and health insurance based on individual experience.

Location: two corporate locations - City of Commerce and Century City. Candidate can work out of the more convenient location.

REQUIREMENTS
General marketing, sales, purchasing, and / or previous experience interfacing with major corporations are required. A good business sense, professionalism, focus and determination will be necessary to succeed in approaching such accounts.

Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook required. The selected candidate should demonstrate ability to lead teams, communicate effectively in all mediums; and be a multi-tasker and problem solver.

Candidate must possess excellent creative skills, excellent communication skills and excellent corporate marketing skills. Must have the ability to target a specific company, and efficiently penetrate and deliver results. Interacting and working well with others in various environments including the office, meetings, trade shows is a must.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, serious, and aggressive and is looking to make a home with us. Position involves some domestic travel.
