The Business Card Online Channel Project Manager is responsible for leading the ongoing development and maintenance of the Discover Business Card web site. This key position is responsible for bringing the product strategy to life on the web by leading the development of business, marketing and site feature requirements that will make Discoverbiz.com a valuable tool for acquiring, activating and maintaining the loyalty of our customers who are small business owners. As the primary Ecommerce contact for the Discover Business Card marketing team, the project manager is responsible for creating and managing the overall marketing and site development work plan.Responsibilities:
Serve as the E-Commerce Lead supporting Business Card marketing initiatives to develop and implement functionality and online creative that meet brand standards and drive business and marketing objectives.
Act as the champion for the online channel, ensuring that functionality and marketing content are consistent with both business and user goals. Apply subject-matter expertise to create appropriate web site content and functionality.
Provide clear direction to agency resources that results in deliverables that are consistent with the brand, design best-practices and project requirements.
Incorporate relevant site behavior metrics, user experience heuristics and relevant business metrics into site content and functionality.
Manage projects efficiently; advance multiple projects towards completion simultaneously, managing production schedules and budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5 years of related online experience, business-to-business marketing background preferred.
Proficiency with web site design and production best practices, including personas and/or goal directed design.
Demonstrated project management ability, including excellent organization, attention to detail, and communications skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a cross-functional team comprised of business, technology and creative professionals.
Experience working with and providing creative direction to outside agencies.
Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
PC competency required (spreadsheet, word processing).DESIRED SKILLS:
