Association Administrator/Meetings Manager

The Resource Center for Associations (RC), an association management firm specializing in the management of national and international associations, seeks an Association Administrator/Meetings Manager for two of its professional societies. The manager is charged to work directly with the Program Chairs and RC staff to design and implement Annual Meetings and Continuing Education Programs, which are educational and financially successful events. The Association Administrator/Meetings Manager will:Coordinate relationships between various association committeesNegotiate contracts with hotels and AV companiesPrepare RFP for site selectionDesign the Annual Meeting, including pre/post meeting, Board, Committee, etc.Recruit exhibitsManage on-line registrationManage on-line paper submissionsOversee Continuing EducationMake speaker arrangementsHandle on-site managementPrepare all promotional materialsDesign promotionBudget preparation, monitoring and final reconciliationMarketing and promotion
REQUIREMENTS
The position will best be filled by an individual who can think strategically and handle multi-tasking with ease. A master organizer who stays calm under pressure and meets deadlines. Tact and diplomacy are key. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and computer registration systems are necessary. Undergraduate degree required. CMP preferred. RC has a staff of 20 located in a west suburban area (Wheat Ridge). Benefits package included. Position available immediately.
