Associate Marketing Database Analyst
Associate Marketing Database Analyst
Collections Etc., one of the fastest growing and highly successful giftware catalog companies is seeking an Associate Marketing Database Analyst to support the Marketing Department in the areas of Database Project and Vendor Management, Database Analysis, Program Results Interpretation, Marketing Strategies, and Market Research.
Some of the specific responsibilities of this position include:
Manage the relationship between the external marketing database vendor and Collections, Etc.
Conduct circulation reporting and forecasting
Assist in the design of campaign reporting based on business objectives, campaign design and testing methodology. Use SQL and SAS tools to code, retrieve, and assemble data from multiple databases and provide analysis, including trends, anomalies, testing results, key insights, and written actionable recommendations
Perform custom analysis, reporting, and multiple ad hoc queries
Leverage the marketing database to improve efficiency and effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention programs through segmentation, profiling, and modeling
Work with the circulation team (catalog and e-mail) to develop models that meet specific circulation needs
Responsible for monitoring the timely collection of data from multiple sources and assisting with determining information requirement, including proper labeling and definition of inputs
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Direct Marketing (preferred) professional with 2+ years of experience in marketing database systems is required. Catalog experience helpful.
Proficiency in SQL, SAS and Excel.
Experience in segmentation and query tools.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of statistical modeling a plus.
Knowledge of relational database concepts and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Economics, or related. We Offer
