Associate Manager - Tour de Cure Cycling Event

People who, through the very nature of their work, improve the lives of others…making the world a little brighter, and a little better.The Tampa Bay, FL area office is seeking an Associate Manager for Tour de Cure (cycling) events with demonstrated experience to identify, recruit, cultivate, and recognize volunteers for their accomplishments. The office is located in Tampa. The volunteer/staff team is responsible for the achievement of fundraising goals related to corporate sponsorship, cycling riders recruitment, team income, and wrap-around events.Successful candidate is results-oriented with experience in working with and through groups to achieve desired outcome. Cold call sales experience and customer relationship building experiences are highly desirable. Strong presentation skills, oral and written are required. Must know how to close the deal, confirm mutual understandings, and manage volunteer participation to successful outcomes.Salary high 30's to start depending on qualifications and experience.
REQUIREMENTS
Must pay close attention to details, be able to manage multiple activities, and describe ADA's vision of successful events to volunteers.Familiarity with fundraising for cycling events/rides is strongly preferred.Must have experience in working with diverse volunteer groups from many employment and socio-economic backgrounds.Requires three years experience.Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends.Must have an automobile and able to lift 35 lbs.When you join us, you can expect competitive salaries, comprehensive benefit programs, and a true focus on work-life balance.
