Assistant Product Development - Jackets

Job Responsibilities: Communicates daily with vendors regarding samples, pricing, deadlines, and product requirements. Handle product correspondence and follow up. Maintain Freeborders database system. Work closely with Product Developer and channel merchandising team. Assist with sourcing product. Develop relist visual boards and series history performance boards. Monitor selling information. Assist with display and setup of merchandise for review meetings. Maintain samples and sample storage room. Generate sales recaps. Manage core programs and core colors. Product hand over to both Advertising and Database. Ability to take over product responsibilities once it has been adopted. Responsible for detail fit sessions with guidance from Senior Product Developer. Skill Reqirements: Coldwater Creek product knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be detail oriented. Must have a sense of urgency. Excellent note taker. Good computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Freeborders, Macs and Power Point. Ability to analyze numbers. Good decision making abilities. Strong negotiation skills preferred. Ability to work weedends if needed. Minimum 1 year retail/catalog experience in buying, purchasing or inventory planning preferred.Job Requirements
