This new position has been created out of the need to help manage the day to day activities of the fast growing Bakery Business Unit. The Marketing Assistant on the Bakery Team, will provide analytical support and project management support across all segments of the Bakery portfolio including; Breakfast, Sandwich and Dry.1.Independently manage the Bakery Portfolio marketing budgets and volume forecasting
2.Conduct Business Analysis using consumption and shipment data and provide insights and recommendation to manager.
3.Participate in developing and launching new products and interface with others as part of a multi-cross functional team.
4.Assist in the development of annual business plans
5.Support Consumer Promotions Initiatives including FSI development, photo shoots, Web Site Updates
Conduct fact based analysis and draws logical conclusions.
Manage several projects at once and acts with a sense of urgency.
Make presentations to Sr. Management
Organize self and team appropriately.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
4 year college degree; December 2005 graduates preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years marketing experience
Strong analytical capability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self motivated with a positive "can do" attitude
Ability to deliver against key objectives and timelines
Ability to work well within both the brand team and a cross functional team
