1) Coordinate new plan installations and plan for ongoing service delivery consistent with commitment made during the sales process.
2) Understand needs of key decision makers and communicates regularly with them regarding product and service features (including new enhancements to products).
3) Manage plan relationships on assigned book of business.
4) Coordinate communication between plan sponsor, plan manager, brokers, and Third Party Adminstrators.
5) Develop and execute business plans for top tier clients.
6) Conduct group educational meetings with proficiency on a variety of topics.What else can we tell you?
Other requirements include the ability to travel primarily throughout Northern California and may be called on periodically to provide support outside of the primary support area. This position is office-based with approx. 60% day travel within territory, and approx. 10% overnight travel.This individual will work to establish strong business relationships with the decision makers of our clients and their investment advisors. And will coordinate employee educational meetings as required.Benefits include health and dental coverage for employees, their spouses, children and same sex domestic partners Incentive Savings Plan (401K), with a dollar for dollar match for the first 6% of eligible pay, multiple investment options, and immediate eligibility Paid Time Off (PTO) bank of days for employees to use for any reason; 20 days in first full year of employment, 23 days beginning in the fifth year of employment Pension Plan based on length of service and eligible pay; fully funded by ING. REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
We are looking for a self confident, self starting, high-energy individual who can work independently and has a strong understanding of 401 plans as well as a solid investment background. An individual who enjoys building relationships with business partners and explaining 401K and investment benefits. The successful candidate will possess the ability to effectively present information to various audiences ranging from front line employees to a board of directors, multi-task and prioritize in an ever changing environment. Other essential attributes include a customer service driven attitude, solid organizational skills and the ability to juggle high volume workloads. The candidate must be detail oriented and possess strong communication skills. Bilingual is required.Candidate should have a college degree with 4+ years of experience in the financial services business and a strong understanding of the qualified pension market and underlying investments.
NASD Series 6, 63 and state insurance license is required.
