Account Executive – Healthcare Sales
Account Executive – Healthcare Sales This person is responsible for the promotion and sale of the client company's patient safety and security solutions to the healthcare market. This opportunity will offer exceptional growth with additional products and alternative markets.
LOCATION/Territory: Based out of the greater San Francisco Bay area and covering a sales territory that is about a 3 hour radius of downtown San Francisco
INCOME: Base of $70,000 that will provide a total income over $100,000.00 the first year and over $130,000.00 the second year.
Specific responsibilities-Manage territory to achieve sales goal, understanding that the average sales cycle is 1 to 6 months in duration, with sales ranging from $5,000 – $100,000+/system.-Develop 30, 60 and 90-day sales forecasts.-Cultivate and maintain sales with select regional group chain accounts as assigned by management.-Follow up and close sales efforts and opportunities generated by the inside sales group.-Work cooperatively with Technical Support personnel to develop technical sales proposals for presentations and to ensure that systems are configured with the proper equipment before quotes are issued.-Update and maintain a contact management database of potential and active customers, to include tracking sales leads and all sales-related activities, and updating customer information.
-Foster collaborative working relationships with others involved in the installation processes.
-Collect and evaluate customer feedback to uncover new product/service opportunities that the company could pursue, and communicate these to product management, engineering and customer solutions personnel.
-Participate in sales meetings, training seminars, and coaching activities.-Travel to customer sites in an assigned territory, and to participate in seminars and trade shows.-Other activities and additions as prescribed by management.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
· A Bachelor’s degree is required.· Must have 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience to Healthcare/Long Term Care facilities, preferably including strategic or solutions-oriented sales experience.· Must have experience selling installed capital equipment.· Must be an energetic self-starter; preference will be given to recent experience managing a sales territory out of a home office.· Must have a successful track record of sales growth. Experience meeting, and preferably exceeding, sales goals is required.· Experience developing marketing strategies for individual accounts and sales forecasts is necessary.· Must be an honest and ethical person with a high financial aptitude· A willingness to travel is requiredIf you meet the REQUIREMENTS and you are interested - you MUST send your resume as a file attachment in MS WORD (no pdf files) to: [Click here for email].
