Wiring Operator

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, TransportationFunction: ManufacturingResponsibilities: Utilize and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and prints to assemble & wire projects. Must acquire the ability to work as an effective team member focused on meeting/exceeding business goals while maintaining and creating a positive safety environment. Will use pneumatic and standard crimpers, hand tools, and power tools, such as drills, to perform work. Proactively and positively work with others in a team atmosphere to increase productivity and reduce cost.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: High school graduate or GED.
Proficiency in measuring.Physical Requirements Of The Job Include:
Ability to use measuring and wiring tools as required by the job.
Ability to lift and carry 50#, bend, stoop, squat, stretch, reach, distinguish basic colors, work in confined spaces, work with hands extended above head, and perform work while standing on a ladder.
All physical requirements performed the majority of the 8 to 10 hour shift.
Must be able to work overtime as required by the job.Desired: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to work in a self-sufficient environment.
Previous wiring experience.
