Coaches and manages people directly engaged in waste treatment processes while ensuring compliance and quality in all waste treatment operations.•Initiate and/or approve material requisitions to meet budgeted production goals.
•Schedule labor to cover operation demand.
•Initiates continuous improvement of customer service to the lines.
•Trains and certifies people and enforces company policies and safety procedures.•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and laws.
•Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and on-boarding people, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
•Assist in coordination of scheduling dumps/solutions maintenance as necessary.
•Leads the implementation and compliance of key company initiatives and programs•Assists in creation of line work instructions/procedures to ensure environmental compliance.
•Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, quality.
•Sets/monitors progress against line metrics & daily goals and provides necessary feedback.
•Assists in ensuring compliance in waste treatment through sampling and documentation.
•Maintains time and production documentation.
•Confers with other area leaders to achieve interdepartmental teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
Expected: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of direct supervision / leadership experience.
Must pass State Waste Treatment Certification Test within 6 months of hire.
