Warren Rupp (A Unit of IDEX Corporation) a manufacturer of air-operated diaphragm pumps is seeking a Master Scheduler. This position, located at our Mansfield OH facility, will be responsible for daily production schedules to the assembly and the shipping processes as well as allocating the necessary resources to meet customer demand. Responsibilities include: but are not limited to generating and maintain a master schedule which aligns with the monthly Sales & Operations Plan to meet expected customer service levels. Interface with all primary functions to ensure that customer schedules are realistic, attainable, visible and measurable. Supervise preparation of actual stock orders, change orders and maintenance of records to achieve required availability and inventory levels. Analyze plant capacity, maximize use of available labor a prioritize shop load. Review production schedules and make recommendation and adjustments where needed. Utilize visual Kanban and MRP planning systems to release finished goods and subassembly production order to the plant in a timely. Provide lead time and delivery promises dates to Sales/Customers for incoming orders. Work with Purchasing and Manufacturing to identify key shortages on incoming orders. Minimize surplus and obsolete inventory. Serve as the Production Control person for the Engineering Change Notification process and coordinate new part introduction into the BOM structure and schedule. Develop internal business quires/reports to assist management of projects and business objectives. Track and improve productivity throughout the shop, "Schedule Attainment" process and OTD through root cause analysis. This position requires that work with job function meet ISO 9001 and 14000 standards. Actively support and participate in Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing activities. A Bachelor of Science degree in "Production Management" or related field is required. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written, ability to organize several distinct functions, prepare comprehensive and accurate reports, forecasts, estimates ad countermeasures. Lean Green Belt or higher certification with a track record of implementation. Working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Word, Access and Outlook software. Working knowledge of Mapics or J.D.
