WELDER/LAYOUT-FITTER - MIG/TIG

Applicant should have the ability to read and understand blue prints. Employee will primarily be working in a small shop environment, but out-of-town or out-of-state travel may be required to install the items fabricated or provide field assistance on an as-needed basis. For this reason, applicants with any type of machinery installation experience or a good mechanical background or ability and the freedom to travel are a plus. Applicant must have a valid driver's license with little or no points. Mileage and daily per diem provided.

Specific fabrication is platforms, mezzanines and/or catwalks constructed of stainless steel (polished or mill finish) or mild steel frames with fiberglass or aluminum diamond plate decking and fiberglass stair treads. Also fabricated are forklift protection (bumper guards) primarily from Sch. 40 black iron pipe.

Other duties will include general shop maintenance, unloading materials, etc.
