Tool and Die Maker (Progressive+)

Purpose: An established manufacturer of Aerospace Fastener in the city of Industry is looking to place a Tool and Die maker with Progressive Die making Experience.

Duties include:

-Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, model, or descriptions, and visualizes product to determine material required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
-Computes dimensions, plans layout, and determines assembly method and sequence of operations.
-Measures, marks and scribes metal stock for machining.
-Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machine, sharper, and grinder to machine parts and verifies conformance of machined parts to specification using precision measuring devices.
-Examines repairs and maintains standard or previously used dies, tools, and jigs and fixtures, and recommends design modifications regarding construction and function of part.
-Develops specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and draws or sketches design of product.

Qualified candidates will have 5-10 years experience in Tool & Die machining functions. Experience in the fastener industry or manufacturing environment is a big plus.Classification:Direct PlacementCompensation:
