Candidates must possess excellent communications skills, strong analytical, and computer skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Oversee daily general ledger activity
*Conduct month-end financial close and account reconciliation
*Conduct internal audits of accounts
*Oversee accounts payable/accounts receivable
*Prepare financial reporting for local and corporate management
*Conduct year-end financial close and account reconciliation
*Prepare state and federal tax reporting
*Conduct analysis of financial operations to identify improvement opportunities

REQUIREMENTS
Educational Requirements
* BA/BS degree in accounting or financeOther Skills
* Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in general accounting
* Proficiency in MS Office and Internet
* Knowledge of Peachtree accounting software* Knowledge of basic informational systems and/or local area networks, including troubleshooting, server and network maintenance, hardware/software installation, and end user training
