Systems Plumber

SierraTherm is a leading manufacturer of thermal processing equipment. We have an opening for a systems plumber, specializing in APCVD Systems
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have extensive experience in working with copper, stainless steel and various types of hard and soft plastic (PVC, ABS, Nylon, PE, PFA) tubing and pipe. This includes a good working knowledge of the use of all associated tubing tools, including cutters, and benders. Applicants should be able to demonstrate proficiency in soldering techniques and the proper use of flux and soldering torches. Applicants must be familiar with the proper installation of Swagelok tube fittings, including Compression, VCO and VCR fitting types. The ability to read and work from drawings and schematics as well as the ability to bend tubing to engineering specifications is essential. Familiarity with plumbing components such as regulators, pressure and flow switches, air filters and dryers would be helpful. Knowledge or experience in leak checking plumbing systems including vacuum and pressure leak check techniques would be useful. In addition, we are seeking an individual who can work to the highest standards of workmanship including aesthetic 'grooming', neatness, accuracy and thoroughness.
