Job Area: MarketingRole: The Vice President of Marketing will lead all B2B Marketing and PR efforts to achieve the group's objectives through strategies, tactics and plans that enable MUI to continue its aggressive growth. This executive will be responsible for defining, orchestrating and delivering the MUI's message to the external market. Specifically, the Vice President of Marketing responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, the following:Strategic leadership of Branding, Marketing Communications and drive other strategic marketing partnerships and relationships.
Lead, manage and refine the Marketing process to build and implement new strategies which provide for dramatic near-term growth in the Company's core business and long-term growth.
Ownership and development of the MediaFlo service Brand.
Establish and manage support services for brand and products/services, including event management, affinity programs, co-operative marketing and market development activities. Business to business brand marketing and possible consumer outreach.
Works closely with internal content team and partners, and manages service launches including; campaign development, marketing and sales support materials, product positioning, customer support and strategic marketing support.
Develops and manages marketing and support budgets for support services and carrier distribution channels.
Support strategic planning and maintain close communication with other senior management team members to cohesively support the brand, the services, and our customers.
Develop strong relationships with carrier and content partners, create and manage support services including events, merchandizing, pricing, communications, and strategic co-marketing initiatives.
Work closely with Product Management, Technology, Business Development and Sales, Customer Service, Operations and the Executive team to define and deliver the Company's strategic marketing message to our customers;
Recruit, train and develop high caliber Marketing teams that possess the professional qualifications and personal characteristics representative of the exemplary level of service offered by the Company;
Develop and lead the process of identifying, approaching and managing potential top-tier partners;
Establish, implement and oversee appropriate Marketing processes and procedures needed to augment and improve the delivery of high-quality advertising and marketing programs;
Play an important role in developing and maintaining the Company's image and reputation in the marketplace.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Experience: Background:
Prospective candidates will have at least 10 years of extensive team-building, marketing experience with TV/VIDEO/FILM media, wireless, or telecom companies and an understanding of the broadcast and wireless industries. The successful candidate will be an accomplished TV/VIDEO/FILM media executive with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of relationship management focused on the highest level of teamwork and customer and client satisfaction. The final candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic entrepreneurial organization.Specific experience or qualities which are required include:Consistent record of high performance in TV/VIDEO/FILM marketing, preferably in both small and large companies for complex services in media or technology.
Proven builder of marketing teams in an aggressive, fast growing and constantly changing environment.
Sophisticated and accomplished team-building and matrix-management skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships at multiple levels within complex and dynamic organizations.
Proven ability to promote technology and services to end users.
Ability to positively influence people across all functional areas of an organization.
Ability to attract, recruit and manage highly qualified Marketing personnel to the team.
