Sustaining Technologist

Purpose: A large medical device company is looking for a SUSTAINING TECHNOLOGIST for immediate placement. Our client's aim is to enhance human welfare by the application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of products that palliate pain, renew health, and extend life.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Providing technical support to engineers in developing products, product improvements, processes or systems.

- Fabrication, testing and analysis, and documentation of new or improved products and process improvements.

- Writing protocols, performing tests, and writing test reports.

- Assisting engineers in developing and documenting procedures.

- Ensuring all activities are in compliance with Quality System requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

- A.S. degree in Engineering or Life Science, or equivalent experience.

- 2+ years of directly related lab experience, medical device industry preferred, college/university acceptable.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and present technical information.

- Very good math, analytical and problem solving skills.

This job is scheduled to be a long term contract-to-hire position, paying $14-15/hour. Since this is an immediate opening, individuals will need to be able to interview within 24 hours.Classification:Contract-to-HireCompensation:
