Supply Chain Operations Manager

General Summary:



This person contributes to The Pepsi Bottling Group's success by supporting selling and delivery operations. This support is achieved by developing, testing, implementing, installing and maintaining an integrated supply chain planning suite of applications.



Major Task Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Plan, organize, direct, and execute Supply Chain Strategy for PBG field locations and Key Accounts. Manage and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for the field. Main Supply Chain point of contact between the customers, Key Account Managers, and PBG. The candidate will ensure the customer is satisfied with the Supply Chain portfolio and ensure the timely implementation of Supply Chain initiatives at each customer. Lead the Supply Chain agenda in the field. Define applications and process change requirements that will improve customer related measures. Develops and maintains contact with top decision makers at key clients Organizes and leads pursuit teams, initiates proposal development process and contributes to proposal pricing strategy.



REQUIREMENTS






Basic Job Qualifications:

5+ years supply chain management or related field experience A degree in Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, or a related operations discipline Willingness to travel



Preferred Job Qualifications:

Three plus years of application development and training to a user level
