The OPERATION SUPERVISOR supervises a segment of the organization’s operations environment, in compliance with established policies and procedures.



Coordinates, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the Department to ensure Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics, or Maintenance objectives are achieved.
Ensures compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and cGMP guidelines.
Identifies deficiencies and makes recommendations for improvements.
Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the area of responsibility.
Monitors department performance through performance measurement tools and provides feedback to staff.
Assists with troubleshooting and repair of equipment, and insures all equipment is well maintained, clean, and in good working order.
Keeps management informed of equipment status.
Ensures all employees receive proper training, such as GMP, SOP, Safety, and Operations.
Communicates company objectives with employees.
Monitors employee performance and provide coaching and training as required.
Administers Human Resources functions, including interviewing potential employees, performance reviews, employee relations issues and overall Company communications.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
3 years experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in a Pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledgeable of cGMP regulations, and regulatory guidelines.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
Mechanical aptitude and MRP systems.
Able to effectively lead and develop a large hourly work force.
