Keep all plant utilities(electric power, air, gases, water) operating and implement maintenance/failure prevention. Coordinate timely restoration of any outages to minimize production interruptions. All Operating Areas: During normal day hours, to provide assistance to Area Reliability Analysts with technical advice, coordination, procedures, etc. as requested to keep downtime to a minimum. Supervise day turn electrical and mechanical construction crews as needed, do communications, training, and other administrative duties. During off shifts and weekends, support other production areas for minimal downtime by assisting with technical help and procedures, and monitoring important repairs, projects, shutdowns, and startups. Monitor/increase use of Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Repetitive Maintenance work and OHSA/EPA regulations. Reduce backlog through productivity. Responding quickly and direct/assist in matters of spill control/fires/floods and other emergencies/safety items. Take charge to control, resolve and end situation. Continuous Improvement/Cost Savings: In all of the above, continuously improve results. Lead all areas/all people to fix safety items, conserve/reduce energy usage, improve productivity, etc. Document results and enforce rules of conduct, guidelines for overtime/cost reductions, contacts/procedures for directing resources/setting priorities.


REQUIREMENTS



Experience must have given candidate the opportunity to develop and demonstrate the following competencies:4 to 7 years in a line supervisory or heavy equipment process related role. 4 to 7 years experience in maintenance, manufacturing operations, process improvement, and cost analysis in a heavy industrial environment. Experience in developing hourly associates, administering operating costs and schedules, capital budgets and basic labor contract administration.
