Responsibilities: Supervises a segmnet of the organization's operations enviroment, in compliance with established policies and procedures. This job description serves in conjunction with the Operations Competency Model. Coordinates, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the Department to ensure Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics, or Maintenance objectives are achieved; as well as compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and cGMP guidelines. Identifies deficiencies and makes recommendations for improvements. Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing policies and procedures for the area of responsibility. Monitors department performance through performance measurements tool and provides feedback to staff. Assists with troubleshooting and repair of equipment, and insures all equipment is well maintained, clean and in good working order. Keeps management informed of equipement status. Ensure all employees receive proper training, such as GMP,SOP,Safety, and Operations. Communicates company objectives to employees. Monitors employee performance and provide coaching and training as required. Administers Human Resource functins within Department, inclucding interviewing potential employees, performance reviews, employee relation isssues and overall Company communications. Must be able to rotate all three shifts.

REQUIREMENTS
Operations Supervisor Qualifications: Education(Specify level and type,i.e.,BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience (Specify type and length, i.e., At least two years of accounting experience) 3 years experience in a manufacturing enviorment; perferably in a Pharmaceutical enviroment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Specify type, i.e., Solid PC skills in software applications, such as Excel) Knowledgeable of Company handbook policies, cGMP regulations, and regulatory guidelines. Demonstrated written and verbal communication, knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, mechanical aptitude and MRP systems required. Must be able to effectively lead and develop a large hourly work force. Certification or License (Example: CPA, none). EEO/AA/M/F/D/V
