Sr. Supply Chain

Responsible for creation and execution of supply chain strategy from raw materials buying to FG inventories, in alignment with LEAN mfg. and outstanding customer OTD for the Chicago and San Leandro Darex plants.
Responsible for the management of supply and demand synchronization, process definition to balance aggregate demand and supply, supply resource assessment, aggregating and prioritizing demand requirements and inventory management for Darex packaging technologies manufacturing in North America.
- Manage and develop staff of production schedulers: Ensure production schedules and plans for all site departments are refreshed weekly, and executed through each week.
- Manage and develop staff of production schedulers: Ensure assimilation and use of shop floor scheduling tools by Production Control Coordinators in SCC, WBC, SLC, and SSB depts.
- Ensure schedulers are accurately/realistically defining resource allocation/assignments for Production Supervisor so they can track progress of production
- Manage site buyer to ensure maximum RM and packaging efficiency at minimum working capital cost.
- Oversee weekly schedule plans in alignment to S&OP for all site operations.
- Manage departmental compliance to real-time and accurate to Sarbanes-Oxley production reporting requirements.
- Review and publish S&OP trailing results monthly.
Lead & manage annual physical inventory evaluations.

Manage PCCs to ensure inventory accuracy for site departments:
-Ensure PCCs initiate weekly cycle count for respective departments
- Ensure processing of inventory adjustments in SAP to support of the cycle count program and as needed inventory reconciliation projects requiring material requisition-
- Ensure process returned goods receipts and ICPs (Inventory Control Packets).
- Review DPS to ensure optimal lead time, OTSD, and working capital balance..
- Attend AM and PM Production meetings and provide input in aligning the objectives of all departmentsAssist/function as a back-up to Production Superintendent with management of Plant execution and schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year college degree
3+ years of supply chain experience in a diverse product portfolio
Strong interpersonal skills including proven oral and written computer abilities
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge and expertise in using ERP/MRP systems6. Knowledge of SAP
