Silk Screener

Silk screen logos, labels, etc. onto sheet metal parts with a variety of finishes. Operate equipment similar to that used to manufacture products in pharmaceutical or media manufacturing companies. Weigh, measure and check raw materials to ensure that batches contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keep accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Perform in-process tests (such as hardness, weight, variation, Ph and moisture content) to ensure the batches meet specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience silk screening sheet metal parts, with a variety of finishes. Must be able to read and understand simple to complex fabrication prints, drawings and customer specifications. Must be able to make screens needed for new jobs. Must keep area compliant with safety regulations, and maintain accurate inventory of silkscreen chemicals. Must be able to work under limited supervision.
