Shift Production Supervisor

This position is responsible for supporting a 24 x 7 operation and works 12 hour shifts (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.).
The Production Supervisor supervises department equipment, materials, and people to produce finished goods. These resources must be optimized while ensuring that finished goods meet product specifications and that employees enjoy a safe workplace.
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Food Science. Three or more years of prior supervisory or quality experience in a related batch manufacturing environment (food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical products for consumer use). Must have demonstrated leadership qualities. Ability to transfer technical knowledge in practical applications. Savvy in mainframe and/or PC applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Prefer at least three years batch chemical manufacturing experience.
