Senior Inspector

Purpose: Our client, a large data tape storage manufacturer, is looking for a qualified Senior Inspector on computer tape libraries and sub assemblies.

On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for performing Receiving inspection, first articles (on machined, sheet metal parts, cables assemblies and electro mechanical sub-assembles), in process and out going quality inspection, first article inspection on completed computer tape libraries and sub assemblies for libraries.

Experience with CMM, Optical comparator, OGP, surface plate set ups using height gage and dial indicator. Able to use all metrology measuring instruments. Experience in Y 14.5 interpreting geometrical dimensioning and tolerance. Familiar with process control and SPC. Proficient in Excel and Word programs.


Hours: 8am-5pm

Minimum high school graduate with 5 years of quality inspector experience in manufacturing companies.
