This individual will be a member of the East Engineering Platform, reporting to the Engineering Platform Manger. This individual will provide two primary services to the Platform and the Novecare Enterprise.

Secondarily this individual is expected to perform as a Project Engineer/Manager installing, primarily control type, projects throughout the East Engineering Platform plant sites. This individual is expected to provide a strong alliance with the Plants to efficiently support and analysis the controls needs of the plants. Utilizing East Engineering Platform procedures, this position will be responsible all aspects of project management from conceptual scope development to start-up for a project design team. Specific project management duties will include such items as; interact with the plant personnel “customer”, gather information, develop and price conceptual solutions, process design, equipment type and sizing, control equipment and interlock designs, project justification, cost estimates, schedule development, cost management.

This individual will be working independently and probably remotely from his/her manager. Individual must be independent, a strong performer and be able to work with minimal guidance
REQUIREMENTS
BS ChE, BS EE, or BS ME degree required.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to analyses, troubleshoot and solve problems.
Must be innovative in approach to problem solving.
Prioritize, schedule, inspect work and (re)direct resources as necessary.
Must be focused and maintain agreed upon schedule.
Engineering spreadsheets/calculations a must.
Individual must be organized, systematic, independent and self motivated.
Manage contracts, engineering companies and contractors.
Familiar with industry controls standards.
Must have chemical plant design expertise. (Equipment, controls selection, efficient layouts etc.)
