Reliability Engineer

Looking for a strong Relaibility Engineer with 5 years of experience and B.S in EE/ME background.
REQUIREMENTS
We have an IMMEDIATE need for a strong Reliability Engineer with the following skills:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for Sn whisker reliability assessment for semiconductor, discrete and electro-mechanical component qualification.
Drive reliability requirements and strategy with respect to Sn whiskering to support qualification of Pb-free interconnect technologies. Participate in development activities and/or internal studies to support Client*s strategy for Sn whisker mitigation and qualification. Engage with engineering teams to support the supplier qualification activities and to resolve escalation issues. I
Interface directly with contract manufacturers and component suppliers to resolve tactical line-down situations associated with Sn whisker reliability issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years working experience with a Graduate degree in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
Extensive knowledge of semiconductor, discrete and electro-mechanical component and module packaging technologies, the Sn whisker phenomenon, and reliability test methods and failure analysis techniques is required.
Fundamental understanding of microelectronics packaging assembly processes, materials behavior and failure mechanisms is required.
Experience in numerical methods and lifetime prediction methodologies are preferred.
Professional membership / participation in IEEE, ASME, IPC, NEMI, JEDEC, etc. is a plus.
Good Communication skills
