RND00000702 — Are you interested in designing and developing new products in a leading consumer goods company?  If so, Procter & Gamble’s Baby & Toddler Care organization has a full-time opportunity in our Diaper Research & Development facility located at our Winton Hill Business Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Assignment responsibilities include bringing new diaper ideas to life through development and evaluation of holistic prototype designs and exploration of other breakthrough ideas/concepts that will delight the world’s consumers.

 

The successful candidate will have responsibility to:

 Create and optimize product (diaper) prototypes to bring breakthrough ideas to life in a way that we can understand and measure the performance.

 Integrate key technologies into holistic designs to deliver an overall effective, functional product design

 Develop new techniques and methods to test product performance

 Evaluate integrated designs and technologies via technical lab and consumer testing

 Develop a supply stream of high quality prototypes to enable consumer testing to enable speed to market




 Demonstrated insatiable curiosity to understand how things work, and how they might be improved. Creativity and Problem solving skills to support exploitation of this curiosity.

 Broad demonstrated range of hands on skills, mechanical aptitude, and interest to create new to the world prototypes to bring a "new to the world idea" to life.  Experience with component assembly helpful.

 Associates or Bachelor’s degree acquired in Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Technology or other technology-related Science discipline is desired

 Basic understanding of experimental design, strong laboratory skills, and good attention to detail/record keeping is an asset

 Organization and documentation accuracy needed for capturing key results

 Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written & graphical) in order to interact well with consumers and team members is critical

 A self motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast paced organization is required

 Consumer research experience is a plus, CAD experience is a plus

 Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, refugee, asylee or lawful permanent resident
