Quality Control Representatives

CEMEX is a world leader in the production, distribution, marketing and sales of cement, ready-mix concrete, and aggregates. We are currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Representative.

Responsibilities include:

-Sample and test ready-mix concrete mixtures, compile data, and prepare reports

-Develop and maintain relationships with customers

-Provide technical support, troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of customer issues

-Perform concrete trial batches in laboratory

-Respond to the needs of customers, Quarry Managers and QC Director

-Commitment to and supportive of overall QC Team

REQUIREMENTS
-Minimum 3 years in Concrete/Aggregate Industry

-Certifications in ACI Field Testing Grade I and ACI Strength Testing (completion within 6 months in the QC Rep position)

-Working knowledge of concrete products, practices, and technology (including cement and aggregates)

-Able to perform mathematical calculations including ratio, proportion, percentage, and basic algebra

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word; including attaching and e-mailing documents
