Quality Assurance Technician

Currently GCI is looking for a Quality Technician for one of our direct client at Woonsocket, RI

Responsibilities:
* Requires a 2 year technical certification (or equivalent work experience) with minimum of two years related experience.
* Working knowledge of GD&T mechanical and electrical measurement tools, SPC,FMEA and quality improvements techniques and be able to read blueprints& do GMT.
* Must be skilled in Microsoft Office.
* Monitors and reacts to unfavorable trends in quality data in production and in customer returns.
* Assists in evaluating product, process, and supplier quality issues with various support functions(Supplier Engineering, Incoming Inspection, Purchasing, Operations, & Manufacturing Engineering)
* Familiar with inspection tools and techniques.
* May inspect units to verify conformance to specifications, blueprints, manufacturing instructions and engineering notes.
* Familiar with return material processes, root cause analysis and auditing principles.
* Performs product and process control audits to verify FMEA, control plans and process flows.
