QA Testers (2 Sr. QA Testers and 1 Lead Tester)

1. Implement defined ITQA procedures to plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate and report results of software testing under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes.

2. Implement defined ITQA procedures designed to avoid the creation of defects (e.g., requirements review) under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes.

3. Obtain, maintain and document (application) system domain knowledge necessary to perform defined ITQA procedures efficiently and effectively

4. Working with ITQA team members and application developers, quickly capture the major business functions and technology underpinnings to be able to design and implement tests of system functionality that exercise all critical inter-system integration points.

5. Perform all non-management QA and testing tasks, throughout the SDLC (i.e., from pre-project initiation through post-project review and monitoring).

6. Coordinate efforts with other ITQA members responsible for building and maintaining the test environment and regression test bed.

7. Be accountable for projects of high complexity, high risk, and high visibility; lead QA Analysts in larger scope projects; handle multiple projects of varied complexity simultaneously Provide feedback on and suggestions for improving ITQA Procedures to ITQA Project and Technical Leads.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:
1. 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in applying QA/QC concepts and techniques within one or more application development methodologies in object oriented or mainframe environments.
2. Strong experience testing in Mainframe and Web Environments. (this includes knowledge of Java, Websphere, CICS, DB2, and UDB)
3. Thorough knowledge of information technology quality assurance concepts and techniques.
4. Experience leading and implementing information technology quality assurance efforts for medium to large projects
5. Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements.
6. Experience detailing test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels in the organization.
7. Experience managing multiple projects or demands
8. Some development experience helpful.
9. Experience analyzing data models and moving and setting up data in DB2 environment helpful.
NOTE: For these openings, the managers will be looking for no less than 3+yrs Mainframe testing, 5+yrs QA exp, and 2+yrs Industry (Insur/Pharmaceutical) exp. – One of these openings is a Lead Sr. QA Tester.
