Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

This position supports the Envelope Products Group, located in Indianapolis, IN.

BASIC FUNCTION:
First-line supervision of a key manufacturing department(s).

BASIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
□ Responsible for maintaining production levels to meet established production schedules. Coordinates with related company functions to accomplish.
□ Maintains high levels of quality in production to meet internal and external customer requirements.
□ Responsible for providing a safe work environment for all individuals working in their area.
□ Established and supervises staffing to meet production goals.
□ Maintains high levels of labor and machine efficiency. Investigates and recommends methods for improving efficiency and morale.
□ Identifies and directs continuous improvement activities.
□ Administers labor agreement and first step of grievance procedure.
□ Assists in the investigation, trial and recommendation of new equipment, vendors and materials.
□ Assists in the preparation of annual budget for operating department at planned production level.
□ Responsible for accurate and timely administration of Time and Attendance.
□ Responsible for timely, accurate reporting of labor and materials within the department.
□ Performs other related duties as required for the efficient operation of the department, or as directed by Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS


REQUIREMENTS:
Evidence of leadership ability and potential to effectively supervise a department; experience desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
PC literate with experience in Microsoft Office and Excel.
4-year college degree preferred. Demonstrated supervisory capabilities in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to direct and manage a group to achieve established Safety, Quality, and ISO standards.

MUST be available for 3rd shift.
