The IT Production Services Associate- Third Shift possesses broad knowledge of the functions of their group as well as Firm procedures. He/she works on assignments requiring the use of specialized skills, analytical and/or problem solving capabilities. Is familiar with and understands concepts and terminology associated with daily responsibilities. Applies explicit rules, policies and procedures to routine decisions.For tasks that go beyond daily responsibilities, requires instruction, direction or guidance from others. Works under supervision. Operates as a contributing team member. Contributes
to the daily business operations of an office(s) or region.Primary responsibilities for this role may include:Monitors production job schedules
Follow procedures for ticketing and escalation according to the Standard
Operation Procedure Database and other department documentation
Performs quality assurance checks on incoming requests
Performs limited job and schedule modifications as assigned through request system
Provides technical support to clients with questions or problems related to production job scheduling issues
Assists in the solving of client issues via trouble tickets that are routed to the team from the help desk
Provides input into monthly Metrics reports
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is preferred plus one to three years relevant work experience.Essential Requirements:
Broad technology experience
Knowledge of scheduling software helpful, but not necessary
Knowledge of Unix, Novell, Windows NT, and Lotus Notes, helpful but not necessary.
Exceptional ability to rapidly learn, problem solve and think analytically
Experience in systems development and architecture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to
communicate with both IT and senior management
