Quality Control Corp. is a leading manufacturer of precision machined and assembly test/components. Current and future growth has created a need for a Planner/ Scheduler at our Harwood Heights, IL facility.

This is a clean slate type of environment where we are looking at new approaches to consistently meet or exceed customer requirements. The individual selected for this opportunity will need to be willing to support those efforts through proactive involvement in the design and development of these new processes and systems. It will be essential that the candidate has an in-depth knowledge of shop floor scheduling techniques and software systems as well as the demonstrated understanding of how to implement them.

Basic Responsibilities:

-Scheduling production.
-Developing and communicating capacity requirements.
-Participating in the S&OP process.
-“What if” analysis/ Order Promising.

Key Measurables:

-On Time Delivery.
-Inventory.
-Total Cost.
REQUIREMENTS
Critical Success Factors:

-Customer Focused, Solutions Oriented, Team Player.
-Demonstrated proficiency with multiple scheduling techniques (MRP, Kanban, Pull Systems, etc).
-Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, develops plans and strategies.

Experience Needed:
-4 year college degree.
-2 – 3 yrs Shop Floor Scheduling Experience.
-APICS (certification desirable).
