Plant Manger

Purpose: A large manufacturing company in the North West Suburbs are looking for a Plant Manager for a permanent position.

Qualified Candidates should have a good background in leadership ability and experience as plant manager before. You will be working with Plastics and specifically the Blow Molding technique. Knowledge of this process will be a plus. The plant works with the union and you will be dealing with them daily. The plant is also ISO qualified and candidates will be expected to have the products up to ISO standards for customers. Also must insure plant is free of hazards to employees in order to avoid accidents and provide a safe work environment that complies with the local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of experience
- Previous leadership/management experience
- Plastics Experience - Blow Molding

You will be working to keep the plant producing efficiently and you must be able to communicate the plant performance, training objectives, quality concerns, labor needs, and the production processes with your team and keep in touch with the employees. The profit this plant makes is at the center of attention right now. You must be able to center your efforts around this and work to improve the current situation.
