Plant Manager

Large financially strong global automotive supplier located 60 miles north of Memphis is seeking a Plant Manager for one of its large manufacturing facilities. This strategically important position will lead all aspects of plant operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:•Direct all aspects of plant operations to include manufacturing, plant engineering, accounting, quality, SCM and HR. Maintain world-class manufacturing capability.
•Build organizational capability by developing leadership and technical talent.
•Direct production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the plant
•Build strong customer relationships.•Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and human resources.
•Maintain best industry practices in all areas of the operation.
•Drive the budget development process and develop strategies to achieve organization goals
•Maintain outstanding employee relations. Must be able to inspire and motivate plant staff to perform at their highest level of efficiency. Must lead the goal setting process to align all employees to achieving our strategic goals.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS•Qualified candidates will possess at least 7 years of experience in a Plant Manager or senior management capacity.•Highly experienced senior management production professional capable of synthesizing complex information.•Automotive supplier experience.
•Candidates with second surface plastics decorating experience are preferred.•Excellent team building and employee relations skills.
•Possess the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by the generation of creative solutions.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor’s degree in related field
